Restoration of Water Damaged Closet

A local home had a faulty toilet which was leaking slowly over several days. The homeowners were unaware of this. The water was able to collect in the ceiling on the lower floor and saturated the surrounding drywall and ceiling. After a few days the weight of the water and deterioration of the ceiling was too much and caused a gaping hole seen in the before picture. After noticing this, the homeowners gave SERVPRO® of Santa Clarita Valley a call. 

Our team of technicians were able to remove the damaged drywall and extract the stagnant water and excess moisture from the room and ceiling. We then tested the surrounding walls, flooring, and atmospheric readings to ensure that the homeowners would have no fear of additional water damage or microbial growth.
